"BREAKING COMPETITION"

 Tameshiwari is the art of using parts of the body, such as Hand, Elbow, Head or Foot to break Wood, Tile, Bricks, Stone, Ice, Baseball Bats ... Tameshi also means trial, therefore Tameshiwari means: Trial by the Wood.

  • JUDGED ON "LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY".

  • 5 JUDGE PANEL (GRANDMASTER) RANK (10TH DAN)

  • AUTHORIZED MATERIALS: BRICKS, CONCRETE BLOCKS, WOOD, STONE, ICE, MARBLE, COCONUT.

  • TECHNIQUE: HANDS, HEAD, FEET, ELBOW, KNEE, FINGERS

  • PARTICIPANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING HIS/HER OWN BREAKING MATERIALS.

  • BREAKING MATERIALS WILL BE INSPECTED BY THE JUDGES FOR SAFETY AND AUTHENTICITY.

  • PARTICIPANT WILL GET UP TO (TWO ATTEMPTS - NO MORE) TO BREAK MATERIALS. AFTER SECOND ATTEMPT, YOU MUST BOW-OUT.

  • MEDICAL PERSONNEL WILL BE ON-HAND IN THE EVENT OF INJURY.

  • PARTICIPANT ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY SUSTAINED.
