This two phase course will introduce the student to effective emergency first aid procedures used to sustain life using the latest first aid tactics. Includes treating Gunshot Wounds, Knife Wounds, Broken Bones, Head Trauma, Shock, and Amputations.

PHASE ONE (ONLINE)

PHASE TWO (HANDS-ON)

Hands-on Training will include:

1. 5 Minute head-to-toe assessment

2. Treat for Shock

3. Apply Pressure Dressing to Control Bleeding

4. Dress Abdominal Evisceration (Organs Exposed)

5. Pack a Gunshot Wound

6. Apply a CAT Tourniquet

7. Splint a Broken Bone

8. Apply an Arm Sling using Triangular Bandage

9. Treat an Eye Injury

10. Dress an Impaled Object

Certificate Awarded upon successful completion.
