SPECIAL AGENT CERTIFICATION
SPECIAL AGENT
Special Agent status isn't just about education, it's a combination of citizenship, age, education, professional experience, background clearance, physical and mental fitness, and a completion of rigorous training. It is a highly selective and competitive path.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a U.S. citizen
-
Age: 21 years of age (min) / 37 years (max) Waiver for veterans, Law Enforcement Officers.
-
Education: Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Accounting, Computer Science or STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) related fields.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
-
3-5 years of professional experience.
-
Former Military, Law Enforcement or Intelligence experience (desired).
SPECIALZED SKILLS:
-
Cyber-Security, Finance, Linguistics or Forensic Accounting.
BACKGROUND / CHARACTER
-
No serious criminal record (Reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
-
Must demonstrate a high degree of Integrity, Reliability, and Sound Judgement.

Interview with the President of the academy and personal references.
TRAINING
-
Physical Fitness Test – Must meet physical fitness standards.

Firearm Training – Must meet firearm accuracy / proficiency standards.

Defensive Tactics Training – Krav-Maga, C.E.T.A. (Close-Engagement-Target-Acquisition), and Armageddon (Limb Destruction).

Investigation and Interrogation Techniques.
-
Scenario Based Exercises.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND
PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED NO MORE THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS COURSE. IF YOU HAVE ANY FELONY CONVICTIONS ON YOUR RECORD,
THIS MAY PREVENT YOU FROM OBTAINING PROPER LICENSING.
MISDEMEANORS WILL BE HANDLED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS AND THE FINAL OUTCOME FOR LICENSING WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE STATE LICENSING BOARD. PHALANX OPERATES ON A HIGH LEVEL OF INTEGRITY, PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND STANDARDS, THEREFORE: ETHICAL VIOLATIONS IE: CHEATING ON TEST, DISRESPECT TOWARDS STAFF, CLASSMATES, AND ANY OTHER FORM OF UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, AND CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM THIS COURSE - NO REFUND FOR FEES PAID.
REFUND POLICY
Tuition and Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. If a student notifies us prior to the start date of a scheduled class to cancel, the paid tuition fee will go towards the next scheduled course or a future course date that best suits the student. Students may also use paid funds to Gift to a friend or be credited towards another course, or purchase merchandise from our online store. If Phalanx cancels a scheduled course, the student will receive a full refund within 30 days of the cancellation.
