ANNUAL CERTIFICATION RENEWAL
AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
GA RULE 509-3-12
The Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies and Phalanx Training Academy require that course certifications are renewed each year to stay current with board regulations and remain in good standing. (SECURITY GUARD, PRIVATE DETECTIVE, FIREARMS)
ANNUAL REWAL REQUIREMENTS
Your credentials must be renewed each year to remain active and in good standing with this academy and the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies under GA Rule 509-3-12 (Continuing Education).
As a tradition of this academy since 2009, Executive Protection graduates are invited Free-of-Charge to attend our annual Executive Protection Training Conference each year during the month of September for refresher training, with the exception of any special certification classes offered at that time, where there would be a minimal fee charged.

EXECUTIVE PROTECTION SPECIALIST

ANNUAL EXECUTIVE PROTECTION INSTRUCTOR
Your EP Instructor Certification must be renewed each year to remain active and in good standing with this academy as part of your annual training. Once your renewal fee is received, your certificate will be shipped out to you within 48 hours.

PRIVATE DETECTIVE - 509-03-12 - CONTINUING EDUCATION
Your PI certificate must be renewed each year to remain active and in good standing with this academy and the licensing board, as part of your annual 8 Hour Continuing Education requirement under Georgia Rule: 509-03-12.

Your Security Guard certificate must be renewed each year to remain active and in good standing with this academy and the licensing board, as part of your annual 8 Hour Continuing Education requirement under Georgia Rule: 509-03-12.

ANNUAL CHURCH SECURITY SPECIALIST - CSS
Your Church Security Specialist Certificate must be renewed each year to remain active and in good standing with this academy as part of your annual training. Note: If certificate has not be renewed in over two years, officer must re-take the course. Once your renewal fee is received, your new certificate will be shipped out to you within 48 hours.

ANNUAL FIREARM RENEWAL - 509-03-09
Your Firearm Certificate must be renewed each year per Georgia Rule 509-03-09 under Annual Training. Note: If certificate has not be renewed in over two years, officer must re-take the course. This certification renewal requires range requalification, where you must score 80% on the silhouette target. Contact this office to arrange requalification.
